The defender for Serie B's Lecce, Marcello Cottafava, has tested positive for a banned stimulant.
Traces of tuaminoheptane were found in Cottafava's system after a game against Arezzo on March 25. Pending a backup "B" test, Cottafava could face a ban of up to two years.
Lecce had no immediate comment.
