Kevin Morgan has recovered from a broken jaw and is recalled to the Wales lineup for Saturday's Six Nations match against Italy.
The fullback was injured in the 21-9 loss to Scotland three weeks ago and missed the 32-21 defeat by France on Feb. 24.
Winger Mark Jones has recovered from a rib injury and prop forward Chris Horsman from an ankle problem and are also in the side. Gareth Thomas has completed a four-week suspension for aggressive behavior toward spectators while playing for Toulouse against Ulster and is on the bench.
"Kevin (Morgan) is delighted to be given the all clear ahead of Saturday," coach Gareth Jenkins said. "We had been hoping he would recover in time to make the Italy game and it's a welcome boost to us all to have someone of his caliber and in his current form available to play, reports AP.
"Gareth (Thomas) will also strengthen the squad and he takes his place on the bench more than ready to make his return after seven weeks of no rugby. But he's been training hard and has all the experience necessary to make an impact if called upon."
After defeats to Ireland, Scotland and France, Wales badly needs to win in Rome to stand any chance of avoiding the humiliation of finishing last. The Italians come off a 37-17 victory over Scotland at Murrayfield, their first Six Nations victory on the road.
