Ricky Hatton's High Court showdown with Frank Warren has been rescheduled for 20 October, according to the promoter.
Warren wants an injunction to stop IBF light welterweight champion Hatton fighting Carlos Maussa on 26 November under rival promoter Dennis Hobson.
And he told his website the case - set for Monday - had been adjourned "in accordance with an exchange of evidence timetable agreed by both parties".
Warren maintains his Sports Network has Hatton tied to a three-fight deal. But the Manchester fighter believes he became a free agent when he dethroned Kostya Tszyu in July.
Hatton wants to fight WBA champion Maussa at the Sheffield Arena in a one-off arrangement with Hobson's Fight Academy, BBC Sports reports.
