Most outstanding men of the Russian political elite have recently found themselves involved in the porn industry. Three former Russian prime ministers - Mikhail Kasyanov, Sergei Stepashin and Viktor Chernomyrdin, as well as incumbent Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov - were involved in the production of the online pornography, the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper wrote.
The politicians themselves had nothing to do with the sex industry, of course, although their first and last names typed in Roman characters in the address line of the Internet browser between www and com, take surfers to one and the same hardcore website. The website apparently enjoys great popularity among those, who do not feel sorry for the time that they spend at their computers viewing adult webpages. Search engines return politicians' names in the first lines of such results. Chernomyrdin comes first, Stepashin, Kasyanov and Ivanov follow.
Any of those links takes a user to the website, which contains the "Adults Only!!!" warning on its splash page. The page also warns visitors that it contains explicit sexual material - audio, video and text files - which are meant for adult individuals.
Psychologists believe that the above-mentioned "top four" of men of politics seems to be most sexually attractive for the Russian people. Specialists also say that such technique was concocted for the Russian part of the Internet, the newspaper wrote.
Russian president Putin was the first person of all Russian politicians, who became a victim of such an unpleasant situation. The pre-election page of the Russian president, which was registered in February of 2000, redirected all its visitors to an erotic site, which advertised prostitutes' services in St.Petersburg.
