An exhibition of Russia's Honoured Artist Fyodor Torkhov, a member of the central board of the Mongolia's Friends Society, opened in Novosibirsk, the largest city in Siberia.
The Expanse of Mongolia exhibition is devoted to the 80th anniversary of the People's Revolution in Mongolia and the 55th anniversary of the society of Russia-Mongolia friendship. The exhibition is being held within the framework of the Irkutsk agreement on cultural cooperation between Siberia and Mongolia.
Fyodor Torkhov lives in the Altai territory. He paints subject landscapes and portraits. He devoted more than 40 years of his creative and public activities to Altai and Mongolia, the main subjects of his painting.
The Mongolian Government highly appraises Fyodor Torkhov's creative and public activities. He was honoured the title of honoured cultural figure and the Polar Star Order (the supreme award in Mongolia).
