The placards with anti-Semitic slogans and explosive devices are not just a hooliganism, but a manifestation of anti-Semitism and inter-national discord, said Russia's chief rabbi Berl Lazar (the Federation of Russian Jewish Communities) on Thursday during a meeting of representatives from the country's confessions with the Interior ministry's leaders.
"Any slogan that kindles national discord is a serious crime," stressed deputy interior minister Sergei Vasilyev in his turn, adding that "we will not let anyone embroil us in our large multinational home".
