On-line sperm bank for lesbians coming soon!

On-line sperm bank service will start working in July. This is the first service of the kind in Great Britain, and maybe, in the whole world. The site mannotincluded.com will select sperm donors for lesbian couples, who would like to have children. The site hopes to solve the problem of donor’s anonymity (his name will not be exposed) and it will help lesbians to avoid the communication with fertility clinics, which are not really willing to help unisexual pairs.

The service founder John Gonzalez said: “I have believed for a long time that same-sex couples had a right to have children. Bureaucracy and prejudice did not allow them to achieve that for quite a while, but now it is time to improve the situation, in order to allow lesbian couples bring their children into a loving, caring and happy environment.”

This project was surely criticized. One of public organizations claimed that the online idea was disgusting: “ ''It's a wicked and selfish idea. They know they are subjecting the child to a lifetime of psychological difficulties starting with having two mothers and no father,” - Lynette Burrows, a member of the Family Education Trust claimed.
