A meeting took place yesterday between a delegation from the Rosbalt news agency and the management of the Polish daily Gazeta Viborcha as part of a Rosbalt presentation in Warsaw. The Rosbalt delegation, including head of the project Natalia Cherkesova, Editor in Chief Tatyana Chesnokova, deputy head of the project Dmitri Mokichev, Editor for Northwest Region Neonilla Yampolskaya, and Head of the Kaliningrad Office Valerii Biryukov, met Deputy Editor of Gazeta Viborcha Petr Stasinski, International Section Editor Martsin Bosatski, Russian correspondent Vatslav Radzivinovic and others. Polish Consul for the Kaliningrad Region Anjei Zbutski, who was one of the organizers of the Warsaw presentation, was also present at the meeting.
During the talks, Polish and Russian journalists voiced their opinions on Russian-Polish relations, discussed stereotypes between the two countries, and also touched upon the question of free transit between the Kaliningrad Region and the rest of the Russian Federation. Part of the talks was dedicated to perspectives for cooperation and development of specific projects between Rosbalt and Gazeta Viborcha.
As part of the Rosbalt delegation's two-day visit to Warsaw, a meeting was also held with the management of the Poland-West society, which incorporates the Society of Polish-Russian Partnership.
