Russian tennis player Yevgeny Kafelnikov in pair with Dutch Paul Haarhuis made it to the quarter-finals of the French Open Tennis Tournament.
On Tuesday, in a hard game the Russo-Dutch pair gained a victory over the Swedish-Australian pair - Jonas Bjorkman and Todd Woodbridge.
After the completely lost first set - 1:6, Kafelnikov and Haarhuis managed to win the second set with the tight-break 7:6 /8:6/. Nobody wanted to succumb in the final set, but the luck was on the Russo-Dutch pair's side - 8:6. For a place in semi-finals Kafelnikov and Haarhuis will have to meet with the Belorus-Indian pair - Maks Mirny and Mahesh Bhupathi.
