Fifteen years in prison for a bad joke on wife: tit for tat

Bad luck happened to the citizen of American Pennsylvania. Forty-four-year-old Jeffrey Barber decided to frighten his wife a little. He shot his rifle in the ceiling, spilled some tomato juice on himself, and lied down on the floor, playing dead.

When Barber’s wife found the “body,” she called the police right away. Police offered quickly arrested the revived husband for illegal storage and use of fire-arms. The federal court of District Columbia sentenced Jeffrey to 15 years in prison. The court took into consideration not only the bad joke, but also the fact that Jeffrey repeatedly threatened his neighbors with his big rifle.
