Mark Zakharov, art advisor and director of the Lenkom theatre, well-known in Russia, described today's meeting in the Kremlin as useful. We had "an open-hearted conversation" he said. The Russian president held a meeting with prominent figures of Russian and world theatres on the occasion of the third World Theatrical Olympiad in Moscow. Another participant to this meeting was Yuri Lyubimov, a foremost producer. He said that they dwelled on development of cultural relations between Russia and other countries. It was "an energetic" conversation, said Lyubimov. Robert Wilson of the International Theatrical Olympiad Committee said he was very much impressed by the fact that the president of such a large country as Russia has found time to talk to theatrical workers openly and whole-heartedly. Wilson called today's Kremlin meeting a "cultural dialogue".
