Specialists have begun to moor the Giant 4 barge carrying the Kursk nuclear submarine in the Belokamenka Bay, the head of the Northern Fleet's press service, Vladimir Navrotsky, told RIA Novosti Wednesday. The bay's roadstead is located right opposite the town of Roslyakovo. After the Giant 4/Kursk combination is lifted by auxiliary pontoons and its draught changes, it will be sailed into floating dock #50 of a repair plant in Roslyakovo. After that, Kursk will be separated from the barge, and the barge with the pontoons will leave the dock. The weather in the area is good: the cloud ceiling is high, the sun is bright, the air temperature stands at 3 to 4 degrees Centigrade, and the sea in the bay is calm.
