After a week's adjournment, court hearings into the apartment block bombings in Moscow and Vologodonsk resumed in Stavropol on Tuesday morning. Five people from Karachayevo-Cherkess are on trial and the case is being heard on the territory of high-security correction facility. The questioning of four people suspected of being involved in a raid by lead by Shamil Basayev against the town of Budennovsk was completed on Monday. One of the accused, Raisa Dundayeva, has confessed to the majority of the accusations, while the other three, Wahit Aidamirov, Salambek Daudov and Aslan Yakubov, have only admitted to taking part in the raid, but have rejected charges of murder, armed robbery and hostage taking. A RIA Novosti correspondent was told by sitting judge Alexei Prodanov that, following the adjournment, which will last to October 18th, the witnesses in the case, about 2,000 of them, will be called to give evidence.
