There Are Enough Laboratories In Russia To Investigate The Problems Connected With Anthrax

As many as 2,300 laboratories are functioning within the system of the Russian Health Ministry. Each of them is ready to take up the problem of anthrax, said Chief Sanitary Doctor of Russia Gennady Onishchenko to reporters. According to him, there are also five institutes, eleven stations and divisions which are studying the problems of plague. As Gennady Onishchenko said, Russian physicians are concerned about the creation of the data bank on biological cultures, the working out of equipment and THE training of personnel for eliminating the consequences of the possible use of biological means. Apart from that, said the Chief Sanitary Doctor, the Russian physicians are monitoring the research into the biological cultures development outside Russia.
