Ukraine Confirmed That The Version Of Having The Tu-154 Aircraft Downed By An Ukrainian Missile Had No Alternative

On Saturday Yevgeni Marchuk, secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council, confirmed that the version regarding downing of the TU-154 aircraft of the Russian "Sibir" airline by an Ukrainian S-200 missile had no alternative. He made that statement in the wake of the meeting between Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma with chairman of the Russian commission Vladimir Rushailo and Oleg Dubina, chairman of the Ukrainian interdepartmental commission. According to Marchuk, the Russian side presented to Ukraine all documents related to the investigation of the catastrophe of a TU-154 aircraft which took place on 4 October over the Black sea. Final conclusions related to the aircraft catastrophe will be drawn by Ukraine in the nearest future.
