The 11th International Television Show called Teleshow Autumn 2001 opened in Moscow on Wednesday. Manufactures and distributors of film, television, and video products, representatives of national and regional television channels, cable television networks, foreign and domestic television networks, film studios, and producer groups gathered in the Centre for International Trade. Over 200 companies from Russia's regions, CIS, Baltic countries, France, the Czech Republic, Brazil, and other countries will display new licensed television products and television-related technology. "Our main goal is to provide professionals working on the international television market with an opportunity to meet, network, and develop cooperation," the management of the show told RIA Novosti. According to the tradition worked out during the previous television shows, conferences, project presentations, round table discussions, and seminars will be held as part of Teleshow Autumn 2001. In particular, the Pan-European Intergovernmental Organisation Audiovisual Eureka will hold a seminar. The seminar participants will address legal aspects of international cooperation, sales and purchases of rights to work with foreign television companies, and joint television production.
