A tanker with fuel oil aboard has sunk in the sea port of St. Petersburg, the press centre of the Emergencies and Civil Defence Main Department of St. Petersburg was quoted as saying. The North-West tanker with fuel oil aboard (approximately 500 tons) sank in the late hours of Thursday near the 112th berth of the oil terminal in the Ugolnyaya harbour at the depth of 11 meters. The owner of the vessel is NTN Service located in St.Petersburg. The 3-men crew of the ship is safe at the shore and so far there is no spillage of oil products. Liquidation works have been postponed until the weather conditions get better. The scene is surrounded by two 100-meter lines of booms.
