Customs Officers Of Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport Confiscate Lemurs

Officers of the Sheremetyevo customs office have confiscated a batch of exotic animals, lemurs. The press service of the State Customs Committee reports that examining the Hanoi-Moscow flight on Wednesday Sheremetyevo airport officials discovered two unclaimed cardboard boxes. They contained plastic baskets stuffed with plastic container tubes with lemurs inside. The animals were being transported in a barbaric way - the lemurs were literary stuffed into tubes with holes and put in closed boxes. All the lemurs were extremely exhausted and depressed, one had died. The other lemurs have been quarantined off at the zoo compound.
