Yenisey Wins Bandy Euro Cup 2001
Yenisey, a team from Krasnoyarsk which holds a Champion of Russia title, has won the European Bandy Cup 2001. In the final match of the tournament, which opened on November 23rd in Krasnoyarsk, a regional centre in Eastern Siberia, the Krasnoyarsk team in a decisive competition outscored 3 to 2 its major competitors, the Swedish team Vasteras. This was the first time that Krasnoyarsk hosted the event.
