The international conference 'Investment in the Russian Automotive Industry' will be held in Moscow on March 12 and 13, 2002. This event will be arranged by the British state non-commercial organization Adam Smith Institute. According to the organizational committee, participants in the conference will discuss such automotive issues as financial sources and capital attraction; possible consequences for the Russian car-making industry after joining the WTO; consolidation and integration as well as plans of foreign manufacturers. Representatives of domestic and foreign companies are expected to take part in this conference as speakers. Among them are Ford President for Russia Henrik Nenzen, General Motors President for Russia David Herman, Avtovaz head Vladimir Kadannikov and others.
