On Saturday Moscow will launch one of Russia's most exotic motor rallies Russian Winter--Frost.
The organisation committee reported that for the first time the competitions would have two titles, Russian Winter and Frost. The rallies used to be rivals as they were on the lists of two federations: the Russian Motor Federation and the Federation of Motor Transport and Tourism.
Initially, the rally was due to start at the Kremlin, but Moscow's unpredictable weather made changes to these plans. The rally promises to be one of the brightest events of Russia's motor sports season of 2002. It will gather more than 60 aces of motor sports.
The rally includes 16 special /high-speed/ sectors and is divided into two laps. The first is 75.69 kilometres long while the other is 48.99 kilometres. Thus the length of the rally's sectors will total 124.68 kilometres.
