Sentence Upon Raduyev's Case To Be Announced On December 26

The parties' presentations at the trial upon the case of Salman Raduyev and his three accomplices ended on Tuesday. On December 18 defendant Aslanbek Alkhazurov will be given the last plea. He is accused of banditry, kidnapping, hostage-taking, robbery and other crimes. Public prosecutor, Russia's Prosecutor-General Ustinov asked the court to determine maximum punishment in accordance with the accusations brought against Alkhazurov and other defendant Khusein Gaisullov on the articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The Prosecutor-General claimed to sentence Raduyev to life imprisonment in a colony with a special regime and to sentence another terrorist Turpal-Ali Atgireyev to 15 years of imprisonment. According to judge of the Daghestan Supreme Court Baguzha Unzholov, presiding at the trial, the sentence will be announced on December 26.
