The service is called “Line Against Harry Potter” and it was set up for callers to chat with fellow citizens who find the boy with the lightning scar too much to stomach after the Christmas festivities.
A recorded voice says “Get it off your chest and tell us how much you hate Harry Potter”, while the man whose idea it was to set up the line, Alois Gmeiner, is planning to write down the most venomous messages and produce an anti-Harry Potter book. Gmeiner claims that “this exaggeration around Harry Potter irritates me”.
Certainly not irritated is the creator of Harry Potter, the British lady J.K. Rowling, whose books are being made into films, the first of which has been a smash hit in box offices around the world.
