Russian tennis player Dmitry Tursunov will have to make a final step in order to qualify for the Australian Open. On Friday, Tursunov defeated Kristof Vliegen, who has recently played in the finals of the tournament in Adelaide. The Russian won the game 4:6, 6:4, 6:3.

Another Russian representative, Andrey Stolyarov, also is successfully performing at the qualifying tournament of the Australian Open. On January 10th, within the framework of the first round Stolyarov had a hard victory over American Eric Taino - 6:7 /5:7/, 6:3, 6:4.
The next game, Stolyarov will play with the winner of the game between Joachim Johansson /Sweden/ and Olivier Patience /France/.
