Data suggest that by Monday 449,387 questions to the Russian President have already been received and processed, the Russian TV1 Channel told RIA Novosti.
According to the current information, at prime time as many as 6 calls per second are received.
The sources noted that in comparison with last year's experience the general concept of a live interview with the President, which was scheduled for December 19th, was likely to undergo some changes. If back in 2001 the majority of on-air questions came from large regional centres, this time rural residents, too, will have a chance to talk to the President.
A televised communication will be carried out via mobile stations operating both in Russia's regional centres as well as in small towns and villages.
