On Wednesday the second book of the trilogy about the Russian President entitled "Vladimir Putin. The Road to Power" was presented in the Marriott Hotel by its author, Oleg Blotsky.
According to the information reported to journalists by the author, despite the fact that it was his second book about the President, he did not consider himself to be "Putin's biographer." He stated that "he simply did what interested him." Blotsky also reported that the book was issued without President's "corrections."
The author indicated that during his meetings with the President no limitations were placed to him. Blotsky reported that "the only thing which Lyudmila Putina requested was not to pay too much attention in the biography to their daughters." He added that the book had already been displayed at the International book fare opened in Moscow on September 4th.
The book was published in 20000 copies, while its price was limited to 90 rubles (approximately 3 dollars) which was indicated by publishers at the back of each book.
According to him, so far, 9 countries have already placed orders for the book.
