Russia's Ministry of Interior: There Is Some Good in Legalizing Prostitution

As Viktor Plekhanov, a deputy head of the anti-organised crime agency of the Ministry of Interior of Russia, said yesterday during a briefing, there is some good and some bad in legalizing prostitution, good prevailing.

Mr. Plekhanov believes that, 'If the oldest profession becomes legal, the number of cases of kidnapping and white slavery and slave trade should decline'. Besides, he says, in many civilised countries this business is legal.
