British companies to take part in Moscow Fashion show for the first time

Eight British companies will take part in the Moscow Fashion show for the first time.

The press service of the British Embassy in Moscow reported that the companies participating in the exhibition are supported by UK Fashion Exports.

When speaking about the participation of Great Britain in the exhibition, Paul Alger, a UK Fashion Exports executive manager, pointed out that Russian economy was stable and the country showed a rapid economic growth while markets of other countries were not so stable. All this makes Russian market especially attractive for British producers.

He also stressed that Moscow Fashion show gives British designers and producers a great opportunity to meet Russian buyers, distributors, agents and press.

The British Embassy said that the latest wedding dress collections by Benjamin Roberts, knitwear for men and women by Commando, wedding veils by Joyce Jackson, men and women underwear by Jockey UK and evening dress collection by Medici would be shown during the exhibition.

This is the sixteenth Moscow Fashion show since 1994.
