Massage Chairs: Convenience and Possible Health Risks

Massage chairs are commonly installed in shopping malls, airports, and public spaces, offering visitors short sessions of relaxation through mechanical massage of the back, neck, and legs.

While generally considered safe, medical professionals warn that massage chairs may pose risks for people with certain underlying health conditions, including cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, or undiagnosed heart problems.

Experts note that intense mechanical stimulation can, in rare cases, provoke sudden medical complications. At this stage, officials have not confirmed whether the massage chair itself contributed to the man's death.

Further investigation and medical analysis are expected to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.
