Moscow map to be made of flowers

A map of Moscow will be made of flowers for the City Day. First Deputy of the Moscow mayor Lyudmila Shvetsova says, the flower bed in a shape of Moscow map will spread out in the Tverskaya Square near the monument to Yury Dolgoruky. All districts of the Russian capital will be depicted on the flower map. Designers are already working on the unusual project.

The deputy mayor of Moscow says, on the City Day opening, August 31, at 1:00 p.m. the central site of festivities will exhale fragrance of flowers, this is to turn the City Day into the Day of Love.

What is more interesting, just married couples from all districts of Moscow and couples who celebrate a 50-year anniversary of their marriages will come to the Tverskaya Square on the City Day.
