Vietnamese children to rest in Russia

Vietnamese schoolchildren aged 12-15 will head for a two-week vacation to Russia on Monday. Fifteen best pupils from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh and Haiphong were selected for the trip, the Society of the Russian-Vietnamese Friendship told RIA Novosti.

The Vietnamese children will go sightseeing over St. Petersburg and other Russian cities and will take a rest at a sanatorium in the Moscow region.

Such trips on the basis of currency-free exchange have already become a tradition. As a rule, each side organises two trips a year. "We want to develop and consolidate relations with our Russian friends," said an official of the Society of the Russian-Vietnamese Friendship, who will accompany another group of the Vietnamese children during their trip to Russia.
