Female director of the year All-Russia contest starts

The All-Russia sixth contest "The Woman-Director of the Year" is organised by the Association of Russian Businesswomen under the patronage of the Federation Council.

The contest is being held "to support women, who've achieved considerable progress in the activities of their enterprises, who are involved in the solution of social problems, charitable activities and social work", to "spread the experience of effective management" and "to form the database of the best women-leaders", the economy committee of the Chelyabinsk region (the Urals) said on Tuesday.

Heads of all kinds of enterprises and executive power bodies and deputies can participate in the contest.
