An exhibition of famous Bulgarian painter Hristo Stefanov opens in the Russian Arts Academy on Thursday.
The exposition features more than 100 paintings, water-colours and drawings, the organisers said.
In Bulgaria Stefanov is famous as a portrait-painter and cinema and theatre decorator. He worked out the architectural project of St. Panteleimon's chapel in Sofia. All in all, the painter created some 6 square kilometres of frescos, mosaics and panels for public buildings in Bulgaria and abroad.
