The chances to find the members of the film crew of Sergei Bodrov Jr. "are minimal", said head of the information department at the Interior Ministry in North Ossetia, Russian's North Caucasian republic, Ismel Shaov. Sergei Bodrov is a popular and talented young actor, film director and anchorman.
The crew that had worked in the mountains shooting a film, also comprised four Interior Ministry employees, two road police inspectors and two servicemen from the special purpose police unit (OMON) forces, Shaov said.
"The policemen had a portable radio with them, and thus, if the group were alive and well they would have let us know," he pointed out. Yet there have been no signals for Bodrov's crew over three days, Shaov continued.
This fact "minimizes the chances to find the crew members alive," the ministry's representative believes.
