LUKoil vice president Sergei Kukura has been released by his kidnappers. According to Nikolai Golovkin, the head of the Moscow regional branch of the Interior Ministry, he was released today at 14.00 Moscow time not far from his home.
Sergei Kukura was kidnapped on September 12 on his way to work. His company Mercedes was forced to stop and was then approached by four masked men with automatic weapons. The LUKoil vice president was lead away to another car and his driver and bodyguard were drugged. They were later found in a wood.
