The famous London bookmakers William Hill are tipping Russia to beat Georgia in their 2004 European Championship qualifying match. They have given Russia, now being coached by Valery Gazzayev, 2-1 odds of beating Georgia in Tbilisi on October 12th. Meanwhile, a draw is being offered to punters at 3-1.
Anyone who wants to have a riskier flutter can bet on a Georgian victory at 4-1.
In the other Group ten Euro-2004 qualifier, Albania vs. Switzerland, William Hill is favouring the visitors, giving the same odds as for a Russian win.
The biggest potential pay-out could be on the Azerbaijan vs. Finland game. The odds on Azerbaijan winning are 12-1.
The qualifiers for Euro-2004, which will be held in Portugal, are scheduled for October 12th.
