Pyotr Fomenko's Theater achieves success in Spain

Pyotr Fomenko's Theater has started off its first ever tour of Spain by giving a performance of "War and Peace. The Beginning of the Novel" in Madrid. The play was a big success.

The performance ended to the thunderous applause of a packed house, which did not seem to mind that simultaneous translation of the play had gone off in the middle of the play (apparently, through the fault of the technical personnel of the Center of Dramatics). The actors had carried on with the play and had eventually fully captivated the audience.

The success of the first performance, which is part of Spain's Autumn Theater Festival, verified the praise that Spanish media had lavished on the producer and his actors.

After the Spanish tour, Fomenko and his theater will move on to other European countries.
