Putin's lookalike suffers from loneliness in godforsaken village in China

A man who looks like Putin lives in a godforsaken village in central China. According to Chinese media, Luo Yuanping bears a striking resemblance to the Russian prime minister.

Luo Yuanping is a common peasant. He lives in a remote village in China's Anhui Province, Dni.ru says. The likeness between the 48-year-old Chinese man and the chairman of the Russian government was discovered by a correspondent of a local newspaper, who visited the village.

The villagers are happy to have a local celebrity. People call Yuanping "Putin's brother," and the man does not mind it.

"I still work in the fields, of course, nothing has changed at this point," Luo Yuanping said.

The lookalike of Russia's most famous politician hopes that his popularity will help him find a woman who would then become his wife, Mayak Radio Station said.

According to Luo, he would like to change his profession and become an entertainer. "I could perform at parties and other entertaining events. I want to change my life, I want to find a wife and have a family," he says.
