Sandra Bullock has been awarded the title of 'Woman of the Year' by People magazine.
The 46-year-old actress had a rollercoaster year as she adopted son Louis, won an Oscar for her performance in The Blind Side and ended her marriage of five years with American TV personality Jesse James.
Now People magazine has awarded Bullock the title and front cover of its final issue of the year for her "life-altering 2010", Digital Spy reports.
Bullock returned to the public spotlight in June, showing up at the MTV Movie Awards to accept the Generation Award. "No matter what you might have seen or heard or read lately, I love what I do," she said onstage. "And I'm not going anywhere. Speaking of what you might have read or heard lately, I thought I'd take this moment to clear up a couple things."
She then pulled out a slip of paper and read, "I am not dead. Number 2, everybody has cellulite, not just me. Paparazzi need more flattering lenses. Whoever established the high road and how high it was going to be should be fired," MTV.com informs.
