You've probably heard that olive oil is good for your heart. Now, it's official. That decision allows the industry to make the claim on labels. The new labels will help spread the news about the health benefits of the increasingly popular oil, according to the North American Olive Oil Association, which asked the FDA to take up the issue. "I would expect olive oil sales to grow even faster than they have been," said Bob Bauer, association president. Sales have risen 31 percent to more than $450 million over the past six years, reports Boston Herald.
