Singer-songwriter Billy Joel, 55, married 23-year-old Kate Lee in a ceremony Saturday at his Long Island, N.Y., mansion, Columbia Records, Joel's label, announced Saturday night. Joel, who was previously married twice, including to supermodel Christie Brinkley, has had more than two dozen Top 10 hits. Lee, a native of Huntington, W.Va., recently graduated from Ohio's Miami University and works as a restaurant correspondent for the PBS show "George Hirsch: Living It Up!" She and Joel began dating last year, according to Newsday.
According to Halifax, Joel released his first solo album "Cold Spring Harbor" in 1971, which was followed by his breakthrough album "Piano Man" in 1973. The title song went on to be a smash hit in 1974 and became his signature tune in North America.
