The World Monuments Fund is planning to allocate USD 200 thousand on the restoration of the Chinese Palace in Oranienbaum and reservation. Oranienbaum State Museum and Reservation Director Victor Gribanov said that he has already reached a preliminary agreement with the World Monuments Fund. He said that a plan will now be drawn up to entirely renovate the yard for USD 200 thousand. This year the World Monuments Fund has already financed work at the museum valued at USD 110 thousand, said Gribanov . The roof of the yard, a drainage system and ventilation system have been renovated. Specialists say that in order to completely renovate the Chinese palace, they need more than USD 8 million.
