Seven Russian sky-divers jump on Lenin Peak

Seven Russian sky-divers jumped on one of the world's highest mountains Lenin Peak in the Pamirs.

The state Kyrgyz committee on tourism, sports and youth policy said, the jump made on Thursday was first and last successful. Only one sky-diver Alexander Kravchenko broke his leg and was taken to the Oshsk regional hospital.

Other sky-divers descended from the Peak 7,130 meters high on paraplanes and snowboards on their own.

The sky-divers jumped from the AN-12 aircraft from the height of 9,000 meters.

Dmitri Kiselev, a test-jumper and a stuntman who had already jumped 3,500 times was the leader of the sky-divers' team.

The team trained in the cosmonauts' training center in the Star Town (Moscow region).
