Tomsk State University to celebrate its 125th establishment anniversary

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree announcing celebration of the 125th establishment anniversary of Tomsk State University.

According to the presidential press service, the idea of summoning up the country's research community to celebrate the anniversary of the oldest higher educational establishment in the Asian part of Russia came from the government of the Russian Federation.

The president's decree orders the government to set up, in 2 months' time, an organizing committee and work out a program of festive events.
