The Days of Slavic Written Language and Culture will be held on May 24-31 in Transdniestria.
Head of culture department at the education ministry of this non-recognized republic Alexander Kriminsky told RIA Novosti on Friday, that creative unions of the region, and societies of the Russian, Ukrainian and Belarus cultures have been involved in the preparation process.
The heads of cities' and districts' state administrations, for their part, formed organising committees to conduct this holiday.
Creative collectives from the fraternal Slavic states are expected to attend it.
The aim of the annual Days of Slavic Written Language and Culture, which have become traditional, is to preserve national cultures, developing people's creative work and cultural cooperation with the Slavic states, Kriminsky pointed out.
