As many as nineteen Russian defence enterprises will participate under the aegis of Rosoboronexport in the 2nd International Exhibition of Arms and Military Hardware MILEX '2003 to be held in Minsk from May 13-15.
As the representative of the federal state unitary enterprise Rosoboronexport told RIA Novosti, "the exposition in the Belarussian capital was prepared with due account for the promising directions of military-technical cooperation between our countries, as well as for the main programmes of purchases for the armed forces of Belarus".
A broad spectrum of export samples of Russian military products "with attractive tactical-technical characteristics" are offered to attention of experts, with many of these samples having been "developed with the use of accessories made in Belarus".
The exposition includes also diverse programmes of modernisation of arms and military hardware of the first generations.
According to the organisers' data, over 100 enterprises, design offices, scientific-research institutes and firms from different countries are expected to take part in the present show.
