The selling of Yuganskneftegaz will not affect Russian oil imports, Russian Industrial Production and Energy Minister Viktor Khristenko reported to journalists today. According to him, an issue connected with the assets of any company or changes of ownership does not create any obstacles to maintaining and increasing the production and export of oil. Speaking about a fair price for shares in Yuganskneftegaz, the minister pointed out that this price would be determined at auction. "I hesitate to comment on the price level," he said having added that special appraisers had worked on developing the starting price and all factors had been considered. According to Khristenko, no matter what company buys these assets, "the single task and goal" is efficient and fast work in the sphere of oil production. "I do not sell or buy," Khristenko underlined.
