Yesterday, Russia's MiG aircraft building corporation fulfilled its obligations under a 2001 contract to deliver 12 combat aircraft to Sudan ahead of schedule. According to unofficial information, the contract is worth over $200 million.
Recently, MiG received a prepayment on the contract to deliver 36 MiG-29K naval fighters to India. Production has already been launched.
Today, MiG is working on contracts totalling $1.4 billion. Experts believe that this figure will soon be increased to $2 billion. The corporation's aircraft are delivered to 29 countries.
MiG Director General Valery Toryanin says, "Today we can deliver any number of aircraft to any country."
