British Prince Michael of Kent visited the Sukhoi air holding's display at the Farnborough International-2004 air show.
RIA Novosti correspondents report that the prince viewed the exhibits on display, including the model of the new regional passenger aircraft's fuselage fragment, which had been designed by the Sukhoi jointly with several foreign aircraft companies.
Michael of Kent spoke to the Sukhoi's director general Mikhail Pogosyan and deputy director general for foreign trade Alexander Klemetyev. The air holding's leaders emphasized that they were honored to greet His Highness at the display.
The British Royal family member was presented with a Su fighter model as a souvenir.
Earlier, within the framework of the Farnborough air show, the Sukhoi air holding signed a contract on shipping 50 new regional aircraft to the Siberia airlines within a few years to come.
Besides, the air holding intends to consider the possibility of concluding similar agreements with other Russian airlines.
