The rating of Russian President Vladimir Putin remains very high: 81% of the respondents positively assess his activities as the president, and only 16% have a negative view of them. This data was provided by the ROMIR Monitoring independent holding that studies public opinion and the market in Russia and represents Russia in Gallup International.
The study was made in the form of a mass representative poll of adults; 2,000 Russian citizens aged upwards of 18 who live across Russia have been polled. The analysis of the socio-demographic characteristics of the respondents shows that support for the president is representative and hardly depends on the place of residence, age, incomes and educational standards of the respondents.
At the same time, the high positive assessment of Putin's actions has been stable, with hardly any fluctuations.
